Adult Day Care
Day care provides a safe setting for those unable to remain at home alone during the day and also provides respite for those who must care for them. Day care can enable people to remain at home for a longer period and delay institutionalization. When choosing a day care center, it is important to visit a few before deciding which one is best for your family member. Adult day care centers have different costs, philosophies, goals, and physical amenities. Centers often update or modify daily schedules, meals, transportation abilities, costs, and staffing.
