DRNJ, a non-profit funded by US Dept of Health & Human Services, is the consumer-directed organization that serves as New Jersey's designated protection and advocacy system for people with disabilities. It offers a number of programs, including the following:
HCCAP assists NJ citizens with disabilities with health care and insurance matters. Includes legal and non-legal advocacy, information & referral, education and resources, training and technical assistance.
ATAC serves as New Jersey's federally funded assistive technology project through a sub-contract with New Jersey's Department of Labor. ATAC provides assistance to persons with disabilities to obtain assistive technology devices and/or services.
