PRINCETON TOWNSHIP No-Interest Home Improvement Loans

  • Princeton Township seniors who own their homes and have an annual income within the limits listed below may qualify for a loan to help with major home repairs such as roof replacement, electrical, plumbing and structural repairs, among others. The loan is interest free if the person continues to live in the home for at least six years. Payment of the loan is deferred until the home is sold.

United Progress Inc. is a non-profit community action agency with more than 35 years of experience providing poor and disenfranchised populations with social service programs designed to promote self-sufficiency and responsibility and move them from poverty into the economic main stream. UPI's current programs include housing, employment, alcohol and drug treatment, nutritional and psychosocial counseling in addition to an emergency food pantry and information and referral services.
