DRAWING with ALEX   NEW MONTHLY CLASSES!

Join Alex Koltchev for a drawing class. All levels are welcome, including beginner. Alex holds an advanced degree in art from Bulgaria and has worked as a graphic designer, art director, and illustrator.

Mondays, 10:30 a.m. at the Suzanne Patterson Building

Fee: $26/month for residents; $35/month for non-residents


PAINTING with CHRISTINA   NEW MONTHLY CLASSES!

Whether you are a novice or expert, instructor Christina Rang will guide you through the artistic process of painting in watercolor or acrylics. Christina studied at the Berlin Art Academy and received a BA from Elmira College in the US. She has extensive experience creating custom murals and ceramic tiles. 

Wednesdays, 1:30 p.m. at the Suzanne Patterson Building

Fee: $26/month for residents; $35/month for non-resident


MULTIMEDIA ART with HANNAH   NEW MONTHLY CLASSES!

For context and inspiration, instructor Hannah Fink begins each class with a short talk about an artist of note. Students are encouraged to work in their chosen media, including watercolor, acrylic, or collage. Hannah has taught fine arts at The College of New Jersey for more than 15 years and is in her 30th year at PSRC. Hannah has a Masters in Fine Arts from San Francisco State University.

TECHNOLOGY LAB

Come to PSRC's Volunteer Lab for assistance with any of your tech questions and problems. Our proficient and compassionate volunteers will be happy to help. Use our desktop computers or bring your own device. All operating systems are welcome. Hands-on help with the Internet also available.

Tuesdays - 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Wednesdays - 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Fridays - 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon

WRITING YOUR LIFE

Join instructor Betty Lies to discover the joys of personal writing. Learn how to organize your life journey and create a compelling story. Betty will guide you through this process, encouraging you to write separate pieces of memory rather than trying to create an autobiography. No writing experience is necessary.

Betty has years of experience teaching English to college and high school students.

Mondays 10:30 a.m. at the Suzanne Patterson Building

Fee: $36/quarter for residents; $48/quarter for non-residents


THE WONDER OF WORDPLAY

Join an ongoing group to read, discuss and write poetry. No writing experience is required, only an interest in a journey to a realm of poetic language.

Mondays 2:00 p.m. at the Suzanne Patterson Building

Instructor: Rice Lyons

Fee: $20 annual; or $5/quarter


COSMOLOGY

This class is a peer-led science discussion on the fascinating subject of cosmology.
