A two session class for people who have never used a computer before. Students will concentrate on using the mouse and a developing a few other basic computer skills. Review of the basic components of a computer.

A basic introduction to the internet - what it is and how it works. Will cover the World Wide Web, browsers, bookmarks and a variety of search engines. Using Microsoft's Internet Explorer, students will learn how to input website addresses, how to move around web pages and how to search. Time permitting, we will introduce basic e-mail skills. Prerequisite: beginners who have experience using a mouse.
