Practical Solutions for Aging in Your Home
Tuesday March 12, 2013
07:00PM Most of us want to 'age in place', that is, to remain independently in our own homes as long as possible. Often this is possible with some modification to the home to improve safety and accessibility. Universal design requires accessible surroundings for people of all ages, sizes, and abilities. Heidi Fichtenbaum, AIA, Farewell Architects, will talk about home modifications we (or our parents)can make so we can live independently as we age.
