The Evergreen Forum
The Evergreen Forum is a volunteer organization under the auspices of the Princeton Senior Resource Center. All course fees go to PSRC for administrative costs, class materials and classroom space.
Course descriptions for Spring 2010 are posted below. The mailing and registration form will be available by January 8, at which time you will be able to apply online with a credit card or by mail to PSRC. Telephone registrations are not accepted.
Registration for Evergreen Forum is not on a first-come, first-served basis. To assure that everyone will have an equal chance of registering for the courses of their choice, there will be a lottery on February 10 to select participants for courses in which there are more applicants than the maximum set by the instructor. A waiting list will be kept and, if openings occur, those on the waiting list will be invited to join the course. Those not chosen will be phoned and may enroll in another course, receive a refund of the registration fee, or, if wait-listed, postpone a decision until final enrollment is known. Applicants who have not been able to take a course in a previous term because of over-enrollment will receive priority for any course in the following term. If you do not hear to the contrary, you may assume that you are enrolled in the course or courses for which you are registered. The semester begins on March 5.Complete course information will be sent to enrolled participants at least two weeks befor ethe first class meeting. Registration for open courses continues until the first class.
There may be additional costs for books or other materials. Class members who withdraw from a course before the second meeting will receive a refund minus a $10 processing fee. No refunds will be given for class members withdrawing after the second meeting. Reasonable accomodation will be made for people with disabilities. Financial assistance is available by request to the PSRC Executive Director. Courses generally last 2 hours and run for 8 sessions unless otherwise noted.
TO REGISTER: First you need to be a user. Either click the registration form or go to the bottom of the page and click login. Enter your login email and password if you registered before as a user OR enter your new user information as prompted. You will need a new user account for each individual (or else it is seen as a duplicate). You must also use a different email address for each user. To switch between users, go to the bottom of the page and log out, then login as the second user. When you have registered, you will receive an email with your user name and password.
Go to the registration form by clicking on the registration line above. Check the boxes for the courses you want, then go down and fill in the security code and click for payment. This brings you to the payment page. After you register, you will receive two emails; one says thank you for registering for (name) course, and one confirms payment. If you do not receive both of these, you are not fully registered.
If you get error messages when entering payment, please let us know what the error message is. Please do not keep re-registering. You are always welcome to register by mail and we will keep working on perfecting this system. The link for a printable form is at the top of this page. Thank you for your patience.
