A colorful smorgasbord of geographical landscapes will be illustrated and explained. The course will include old favorites plus new material. Input from the group is appreciated and requests for specific areas or topics will be encouraged. We will cover the following very broad topics: watery landscapes from marshes to the oceans; volcanic landscapes both active and extinct; deserts from cold to hot; iconic landscapes from Guilin to Uluru; human landscapes of particular interest. I hope to end with the landscapes of the British Isles.
