
VOLUNTEERING WITH PSRC
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Princeton Senior Resource Center!
We are looking for volunteers in several program and service areas. If any of the positions listed below are of interest, please email or call Sharon Hurley, CVA at 609.751.9699 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Or email shurley@princetonsenior.org. We will schedule a time to discuss your interests, abilities, and time availability. To apply for a volunteer position you can also complete the online application.

Volunteer positions:
- Answer phone, register people for classes, operate copy machine, help set up for classes. Be the first point of contact at the Front desk. This can be a very busy position. Most volunteers work a 3-4 hour shift once a week.
- Computer assistance: help update database; generate mailing labels, attendance forms, class lists.
- Technology lab assistant: assist older adults to become more comfortable with computer skills; teach classes.
- Many opportunities to teach and facilitate.
- Assist development director in preparing fundraising events, serve on a committee to find new locations and event ideas.
- Assist with event preparations, set up, cleanup, registration (these events could be ongoing, annual, or one time only events).

- Offer companionship, help with shopping and other light tasks for a home-based older adult. We currently need a Saturday volunteer. Email Billi Charron, MSW, at bcharron@princetonsenior.org.
- Read to kindergarten children in the public schools once a week from September to May.
